Did anyone ever change the date of their wedding on their registry before the wedding so that you could obtain the 10% coupon and buy things before you get married?

I changed the date after (just recently) to extend our 10% off period. Though I found that Macy's regular sales are even better than the 10% off.

that may be dangerous because if someone tries to look up your registry knowing your wedding date, they may think it is the wrong couple!!

I think there is a one month gap, though. Like you can't use the 10% off until at least one month after your wedding (or maybe it's longer, I don't remember...)

I didn't change the date, but I did add extra stuff, so I could get 10% off that stuff too!
