I started a new thread so everyone will read it to help the girl who needs the new hall around June 23rd...
Is it just me or do you guys remember a bride recently (in the last month or so) posting about needing to cancel her wedding around the same date and looking for someone to take over the contract? I can't remember who but maybe someone else can and we can pass on her info??

I remember her I was thinking about taking it over
you guys are awesome! but i rememberd that too and looked up the place...too far for my guests...FFIL will not be happy!!!!

Do you know what your contract states?? YOu might be responsible for the remaining amount on the contract if you were to cancel so close to the event date. Then you're out that money Plus the amount to get a new RH and all those guests.
I'd really have a sit down with both parents regarding this. it seems silly to change it now JMO

This may be kind of forward, but is FFIL helping to pay for the RH? If not, then who is he to invite that many more people and certainly who is he to demand where it is????? Sorry, but if he's not putting money down, he doesn't get a say.
