Time wise it takes about 6-7 hours. All depending on traffic, how fast you drive and if it's the US side or the Canada side.
Takes me 6.5 hours to get to Exit 39 area on LIE plus I live 15 minutes from the Falls. This is of course if you don't hit traffic, esp on the GW.
we live in brooklyn, my parents live in rochester, it usually takes 7 hours to drive to rochester and there is another hour from rochester to buffalo... so I would say at least 8 hours...

Yep I used to live in Rochester too and it takes me 7 hours to get there and another hour or so to get to the Falls....![]()
