Does it take for BM dresses to come in? My wedding is Oct... and we're going to order mid-May. i'm not sure how many fittings are needed, how long before they come in...etc...

I think it depends on the dress. My takes 9-12 weeks. We ordered in the beginning of March for a Sept wedding. They should be in by end of May - mid June.

Thanks -- I was figuring about 2-3 months and one fitting. I didn't even think to ask how long it would take to come in! Oops!

Ours took about 8 weeks, my dress came within 5 weeks.

For my BM's Jim Hjelm dresses they told us 2-3 months to come in. I figure add a month for them to get fittings done on their own time. We ordered in mid April for my October wedding (6 months in advance). Just wanted to get it done and checked off the list - also wanted time in case god-forbid, they come in wrong or messed up or something.

They told me 12 weeks, the dresses came in about a month after we ordered them.

I ordered from house of brides two weeks ago, and they said beginning of August, Oct 12 wedding.

We ordered ours in March for my october wedding and they take about 5 months. But it also depends ont he designer, some come in quicker.

It depends on where you order from. But on average 6-12 weeks to arrive. I am ordering in late June for my November wedding.
