About how much $ should I expect to spend on invitations?
How much does it run if I get them from a printer? Or if I choose to do them myself?

I paid under $700 for 140 invites
Included:
-The invitation itself -Inner & outer envelopes, and RSVP envelope -Return addressing on outer envelope, addressing on outer envelope, names on inner envelope, return address on RSVP envelope -Reception card, direction card, and RSVP card
They came out beautifully, and I was happy that I spent the money

depends what kind of invitation you want ...
if you want to save money, you can buy DIY kits at Micahel's using the 40% off coupons ... mine came out to about $1 each doing it that way.
pocket-fold invitations can cost about $7-ish each professionally, or $3-ish each if you DIY them (these are approximations based on what other girls have said in the past).
you can get pretty ones through vistaprint too ... make sure to find and use a coupon code (google 'vistaprint coupon code' and *something* should come up

It ranges. I've seen people spend less than $1 per invite, or over $10 per. Mine were $5+ each which included the invite itself (custome designed, ribbon and bling!), 4 inserts and addressing for inner and outer envelopes

Wow, that's pricey. I went cheap w/mine, I didn't want to spend a ton of money on something ppl are going to throw away. I did seal and sends from Invitations By Dawn and I think they were like $1.50 each. I really liked them and i Still have people asking me were I got them from, ppl thought it was cool that it was a 'green' option and had a post card return. I have had 4 friends since my wedding ask me where I got them from and then order the seal and sends too from invitations by dawn. Good luck!

i am doing the invitations myself. its scary at first but the online tutorials helped out alot. I only made a trail version so far but they will come out to be $2.75 for pocket invitations
