well so i ordered my save the dates about 10 days ago and i should be getting them by either tomorrow or saturday.. so as sooon as i get them i wanna mail them out, but now i am a little confused and dunno how i should do this... when i mail them i want to get the return address labels, and how should i put it on there? mine and fiancee's name and my address or just our names and no address?? or what?? i dunno how i should do that!!
PS: does anyone know where i can get pretty address labels ordered online?? any websites??
also i was thinking.. maybe ordering those pretty monogram labels of our names/initials and putting that sticker on the back of the envelope instead of the return address label!!
pleaseee help and give me some ideas.. hehe!!

Re: about my save the dates!! =]
for our save the dates we had the save the date company print the return address only on the back flap. We left out our names... I am unsure about labels. My personal opinion and from what I have heard from calligraphers - they say do not use labels it looks tacky. I hand wrote my save the dates and they came out great. You can also always bring them to a hallmark store and they actually print the names for you right on the envelope or at least you can use that idea for the return address label. Just another opinion. Good luck
They came out really cute!!! I put both of our names on it and our address... on it (we both live together so that wasn't a problem). If you don't live together.. y ou can just include your address on it if you want... if my FH and I weren't live together I would have the return address sent to myself b/c I'm more organized than he is lol

Just a little advice...ONLY send STD's to those you know will definitely be attending your wedding in a year. I was forced to invite people I hardly ever talk to anymore. A lot can change in a year

I ordered address labels from www.vistaprint.com. I had an email from them which offered 250 free address labels. I wound up having the computer calligrapher (www.inkspun.com) put our address on the back of the envelope.

I think your return address should be somewhere on the envelope (in case any of them get returned for any reason). I put my return address on the back flap of the envelope. I used www.inkspun.com for computer calligraphy. Check out his website - his prices are EXTREMELY reasonable. How it works is: you send him just your envelopes and mail him a check for the calculated amount. He prints your envelopes using the font you choose and mails everything back to you when he's done. Mine looked great (better than hand writing) and were VERY inexpensive. The only thing is that the whole thing takes about a week (figure two days for him to receive the envelopes, two days for him to complete them, two days in transit back to you). If you're willing to wait that long, you should go for it - it looks great and the price is right. GL.

for our save the dates, we used my parents address as the return address.
