about my second dress and question...

because I can't tell anyone else (only the woman doing my step daughters' hair knows!).

I got my second dress off ebay and it was in great condition. I needed to take it in (of course I am like child size).

I also am having my tailor make it a little more sexy and different form my first dress by pulling it in on top a little (make it more sweetheartish and maybe adding a broach in middle)). There was a woman in the tailor's that loved it. Some women walked by the place and looked in window and said 'aww'. It made me feel I made right choice! He also charged me a flat fee no matter how many times I make him go back and take in more or change (I sent a lot of people to him). I told him to take in less in case I gain weight by March.

The question is: Most brides take off veil at dinner. But since my 2nd dress is less 'traditional', I am thinking of getting a second cheap small veil (for like 25 bucks). Do I even bother?

btw: all in all it's costing me 150 for all of this and I am going to use THIS dress for trash the dress and preserve my real one . I feel like with the changes I am also making it 'different'. I am such a dork, aren't I?

especially if your using the 2nd dress for trash the dress i would get a cheap veil, you wouldnt want to ruin your normal veil ya know?

My real veil won;t match the 2nd dress (it has design of first one) so I wouldn't wear it anyway...but yeah good point- I need it for TTD.

I think you should get another veil!
