Did you really want them as one of your vendors? How did you get that reaction that they dont want to be part of your wedd?

you should feel 100% comfortable and welcome by ANY vendor you book!!! if you dont' get that feeling--then walk away, it isn't meant to be

vendors sometimes don't want to book brides, for whatever reason. i know a vendor of mine--told me that if they feel they don't have the right 'chemistry' with a couple, they will not book with them. they said it was nothing personal against the couples --- sometimes they just feel like they aren't going to work well together and think its fair for that couple to find another person that will be a more perfect match.

so if a vendor is brushing you off--or running hot & cold--just walk away!!

Diane if you already have a bad feeling about a vendor my advice is to keep walking. There are plenty of photogs, dj's, florists, etc., that are amazing and will make you feel comfortable with your decision.

I agree, i dont understand why they would make a potential client feel like that what is wrong with them.

I've felt this way. Maybe the company is pressuring the sales people or something but a few places for a few different things I felt rushed and just not important.

that is horrible though...Don't they know that they potentially can also lose on other clients. Obviously we all get asked recommendations all the time, and this way were gonna make sure to say DONT GO TO X vendor.

I know. When you go around getting quotes from different places it's not just about the amount of $ but you need to weigh in the kind of service you will get too!

I agree with the PP. If you feel uneasy at this early stage, there's no point in pursuing it. You should feel positive about every aspect of your meeting, there are far too many other vendors to choose from if you don't! We actually got a note in the mail, with a starbucks card like three days after we booked our photographer. It was so cute, just a thank you for booking with them, and a note to enjoy a cup of coffee on them! I KNEW I'd made the right choice! Go with your gut!

Its not your fault babe, vendors can be very weird sometimes, I have witnessed a few. If they dont want your business its tough $hit for them they are missing out, you are def not missing out if you feel that way about this vendor

definatly walk away a vendor is suppose to be excited for you day and your day should be theirs as well. you pay alot of money for a vendor. they shoukld accomidate you

I would also move on. Why give your $ to someone is so non-chalante.

If they have a whatever attitude before they have your $, who knows what the will do once you book, sign a contract and they have your $.
