I've never been to a wedding w/Absolute Entertainment but I have w/Body Rock & they are great.

We booked Body Rock & are really excited to use them. I've been to two other weddings that used them (1 Fox Hollow & 1 Westbury Mannor) & they were great! We added the live percussionist & the mini intellegent lighting. FM if you have any questions!

I went and saw absolute Entertainment and Body Rock We did not like them I booked with get in tune my girlfriend had them @ a Wedding and they were amazing when I started getting ready for the big day see told me how much they cost her and I booked right away. I how ever liked Body Rock much better then Absolute. Good Luck

I didn't meet with Absolute - only Body Rock but I was impressed with Body Rock. I like that they have been in business for a while and they handled the meeting very professionally. I'm getting married in the Briar Fox Room and I really liked the fact that Body Rock had an electrician set up the room where the speakers can be hooked up by the entrance without wires on the ground. This way the speakers aren't over my guest's heads.

ok.... for those who have not good reviews on Absolute could you FM me why. I would like to hear so I can make a good decision.
For anyone else, do you have ideas for a DJ/MC for no more than $1500. I know it's late and everything is booked.

I went to a wedding at the Fox Hollow and they had 'Body Rock'. Think of it like this. People don't remember the color of the dresses and the types of flowers, they remember the food and music. The food was awesome and the body rock band blew me away. Definately go with Body Rock.

I didn't meet with Absolute, but did meet with Body Rock. I explained to the guy that we were doing a black tie wedding so we wanted to make sure nothing cheesy went on--we're tying to keep it classy and elegant. He then tried to convince me for 5 minutes that handing out a fake rose that LIGHTS UP is classy. This was after I told him I didn't want giveaways. Yes, I'm sure they do that at the Waldorf all the time. We went with Starlight Express since we just got a better vibe from them.

Oops, I'm sorry!!! I realized that the info I gave you was for In the Mix, not Body Rock We did meet with Body Rock and found them very professional. I loved the fold-down movie chairs they have. Sorry if I gave you the wrong impression. My memory must be slipping in my old age.

My cousin had his wedding at the meadow club in april and had absolute as the dj. they were terrific. they played exactly what my cousin and his wife wanted and they really got the crowd involved.
