AC Moore

AC Moore

There's one not too far from me and I decided to check it out today for the 1st time.

Not impressed. First of all, their 'wedding section' consisted of 3/4 of an aisle.

But a heads up for those of you who are interested. starting tomorrow their votive candle holders (plain clear glass) will be $.25 each! I thought that was a steal. The votive candles are $.44 each.

I've never been to Michaels... can someone please tell me if Michael's has a wider selection?

Thanks!

Hi.. I went to the AC Moore in Carle Placce and loved it. I got my votives for $.25 as well. I thought they had a better selection of the votive holders than michaels. They also had more paper choices and other crafty things!

Which one did you go to? The one on Hempstead Tpke has a few aisles of wedding things.

I think, when you go to these stores, you need to put things together. Like, it's not already made stuff you get in aisle 5, but you take a little bit from this section add it to a little something over here, and then you have to put together your finished product.

I don't think I purchased anything out of the acutal 'bridal aisle' because there just wasn't much there or things that I liked.

I went to the new one in Holbrook. It just opened a few months ago. It's not very big or anything. so maybe their other stores are better.

I don't know if you have been to Patchogue Floral but I have heard they have lots of stuff. I am going there Thursday.

The one in Bethpage/Levittown on Hempstead tpke is huge. And there is a michaels right down the rd. If you have extra time one day might be worth the drive.

I go to that one all the time...and I like it alot. I haven't bought anything from the 'bridal' aisle, but I got a lot of stuff for the wedding in other sections. There is also a Michaels in Patchogue (a couple of exits east of A.C. Moore). I actually prefer A.C. Moore to Michaels.

25 cents is great. We're in the RVC area. Does anyone know where the closest AC Moore would be?

Re: AC Moore

Patchogue floral is somewhere in Patchogue. I am not certain exactly where. I am going to call before I go to get directions. Sorry

Re: AC Moore

The closest one to RVC would be the one on Voice Road off of old county rd by the mall. or you can go the one on Hempstead tpke.

I love AC Moore....whenever we visit my mom we stop at the one in Hauppauge. It's great. I prefer it to Michaels.

Update on this store...

I went there again after work and bought a box of 24 votive candle holders for $.25 a PIECE! and votive candles for $.33 a PIECE! WOW! That is a STEAL!

I have one burning now to see how long it lasts. it's been going for about 2 hours now and no where near 1/2 way through so...it will definitely last throughout any reception!

Just wanted to share!

I went to Patchogue floral yesterday. It is on 101 alittle before Main Street. I found my invitation there. They had a lot of stuff. I think more than Michaels and AC Moore. Even though I love those stores for scrapbooking.
