A.C. Moore news!

So I was poking around the page trying to find out when the rumored stores would be opening on LI - couldn't find anything definate, but did find a tidbit under New Store Employment Opportunities!

They are hiring for the store at 359 Nesconset Hwy - Hauppauge Shopping Center, near the intersection of Vets Memorial and 347.

So if they are hiring, the opening can't be too far away!

Any news on the other location?

I should get a job there!!

thanks for the heads-up Karen

Funny you should mention this!

The store in Hauppauge is scheduled to open on January 31st!

I just got a part-time job there today, and I start on Monday I'll be in the stitchery department (Not my first choice, but all that was available) Oh well - better than nothing!

Way to go Claud!!

So do we get the LIW discount??

CONGRATS CLAUD!!!! How exciting!!!

THanks Lisa and Erica

Yes, stitchery is yarn, thread, cross-stitching and crocheting, etc. I'm not big into these specific crafts, but I think I'll enjoy just being in a craft store environment.

I am really concerned about not dropping my paycheck IN the store before I can take it to the bank! I already had my eye on a couple of holiday outdoor 'flags'...I just started collecting them!
