Ok so I finally was able to block hotels for OOT guests....how many hotels is too many or to little to put in the invite and how did you choose? I guess my dilemma begins with the fact that my ceremony is in Queens and my reception is in Long Island so I picked hotels near both, but there is some difference in price-which needs me to my next question what are reasonable rates?
Help I feel like I am stressing something that is so simple!!

Not sure what the right answers are....we blocked rooms at 2 hotels b/c one hotel couldn't give us enough rooms to fit all of our OOT guests. The hotels actually ended up with the same price for the block, $139/night. Most people will probably end up staying both Friday and Saturday night, so it was important to us to have a reasonable rate. FH's parents bargained one hotel down on their rate to make this happen!

I am in the process of doing this now...can you believe 8 months away and there are already 3 other weddings there and the bridal suites are booked. I called my reception place and asked which ones the recommended. I figured it was between 3 that were close. one being too expensive one that didnt look too nice so I just picked it kind of out of default. But, I havent gone to see it until this weekend.

I just can't figure out which locations to pick? I might just choose one and provide transportation for the day of.
