accommodations...BIG oops on my part

accommodations...BIG oops on my part

For some reason my parents only blocked 10 rooms at the hotel that we wanted our guests to stay at. I've been meaning to call and increase the number, but it slipped my mind. Finally my mom called today since we just sent out the invites and they are all booked!

We wrote on the accomodation card that we have rooms booked at the Executive Inn. She has tried 2 nearby hotels and they are booked also. So now she's running around frantically to find one that has rooms.

Please suggest your hotels near Woodbury. So far we have tried Executive Inn, Best Western, and the Holiday Inn in Plainview.

I guess once we find one we will send out postcards or something to inform everyone of the change. Is this tacky? I feel like an idiot right now.

Sorry I do not know the area too well. I can tell you that it is not tacky - you are helping your guests find accomodations. All will work out

idea - perhaps go to sites like hotels.com - put in your area and you'll have an instant list of all of the places nearby

I was hoping for a less-expensive hotel since a lot of our frinds do not have much money. Its definitely an option if I cant find anywhere else. Thanks!

You should try the Four Points Sheraton.

I booked them for my wedding and they have been great so far
