accomplished!

i hit a serious lull w/ wedding planning for a while, but i'm happy to say that this weekend has been seriously productive, so i'm back into it...yay!

* addresses for STDs
* hotel officially blocked and all STD inserts printed
* all HM flights booked (it's a complicated trip, so this took a while)
* ceremony location problems solved
* wedding website up
* limos decided and on the verge of being booked

here's the wedding website. what do you think?

we're using the hilton on vets. they have a bar in case we go the after party route.

as far as the ceremony, we decided to take the easy route and do it at the RH. my big thing was that i didn't want to see him before the ceremony, but i also didn't want to miss the CH for pics. we're going to go down to the beach (my original dream of saying my vows with toes in the sand) to do private vows and a sand ceremony without the officiant (just us and the photog) while the 2nd photographer takes pics with the BP. then we'll do all our pics together and head to the RH where we'll do the real ceremony w/ the officiant--so it's still a real wedding. we have 2 other ceremony locations reserved (lighthouse and a waterfront unitarian church in bellport) but neither could accommodate all our guests indoors in case of rain, and the church wanted us to rent a porto-potty for the outside ceremony no thanks.

I should have TOTALLY sent the hotel blocking info with the STDs. . .thought that it only went with the invite.

getting around to blocking the hotel is the exact reason we're only sending stds now after being engaged for 1 year and 1/2.
