According to FH: 'We're just not talented'

Ain't that the truth!

We tried putting together our photocube tonight. What a mess. I tried using wood glue (which would ooze out and not stay together!) and FH also tried to screw the frames together with brackets- but the frames were cracking.

back to the drawing board tomorrow! We might just hot glue the damn things together. His dad suggests we buy clamps to hold the frames together as the wood glue dries- but I think that's nuts.

how come it seems easy for everyone else on this site?

Yeah, we're just not talented. That's why we can never have a house that's a work in progress. We're hopeless.

it's not nearly as hopeless as you think. i think clamps are a good idea, actually. either that or maybe try using a glue gun. I think they sell glue sticks that are the color of wood glue...tans and browns and such. can't remember for the life of me where i've seen it but i know it exists!

awww Tara!! you two are talented....but maybe just not at making photocubes! you'll get there...I'm sure I'll get just as frustrated making mine!!

try gorilla glue (michaels..)

i am procrastinating this project for the same reason! I know FH will think i am crazy so i am not even going to ask him to help me with this one!

Tara, this is exactly why I'm dreading trying to put mine together!!!! I tried screwing in a few of the brackets and it cracked!

I have heard that gorilla glue is great for that though!
