Me too, but now I'm scared. I thought I was on top of things. I was waiting until Christmastime to do those things. I am also waiting on my BM dresses because I know at least one might be pregnant and one is about to have a baby.

yea i am going to look for dress at my 1 year mark just so i know I have that done. they dont take too long to come in so you should be fine.

I love the timeline tool....but personally I think they are leaving you a lot of room to be a little later on things. The knot timeline definitely says to do things later then the LIweddings time line.

I have 10 months left and I dont even have a dress yet. Dont worry. You'll get the invites in time.
Like a poster above said, the time line here allow time. I use the knot's timeline.

I am getting married 2 days after you. I am ordering my BM dresses the end of october and we are ordering our invites no later then december. You want plenty of time to get them in and to address them. Remember you have to send them out like 2 1/2 months before so they have to be mailed no later then end of april begining of may.

I don't think you are behind. I think it's a very detailed to-do list. Most lists are only 12 months. This one spreads it out over 18 with a lot on it so I think they are trying to really spread it out so it doesn't feel like you have so much to do right at the end.

I like this sites timeline but you can also check out theknot.com they have a timeline, budgeter tool, and lots of articles on anything and everything. I obviously like the message boards here better though!

I booked my hair and makeup as soon as I realized who I wanted for the day of....I was nervous they'd book up and then not be available.

other states dont book up as fast as here in li or nyc period so keep that in mind. Here halls book up way far in advance than other states, and so do vendors

I think we get scared too, there are plenty of places to get married and plenty of vendors on LI. I'm a victim of feeling as if I had to rush to book things. Ex. I was told dresses including maggie dress take 12 months to come in. I ordered my maggie 2 weeks ago and it should be in in January.
