ACCOUNTANT

I need a good one.. mine ***** . I've been going to her for 8 years now and she keeps raising the price to do my taxes every year- shes being greedy and I dont want to give her my money anymore.. She messed me up last year and I ended up having to do an amendment and re-doing my taxes.. and she charged me for that too.. andddddddddddddddddddddddddddd she made a mistake on my state taxes which delayed everything and I didnt get it until - september I refuse to go to her this year.. UGHHH

UHHHHH Guess i cant say S*U*C*K*S LOL

wow i wouldn't go to her either ... i use Marc from Marglo Associates ... he's SOOOO good ... and he's really nice too

he is somewhat expensive ... but ultimately, he's worth it because i get a bunch of money back from the gov't because of him i think he charged me about $180 last year (but i also got a $5000 refund, thanks in part to taking some classes)

ahhhhhhhh yes school.. i remember when i used to get back a big lump sum because of school.. one yr i got 7 grand 5 from federal and 2 from the state Last year was my last year.. I hate to see what Im going to get now :(

do you have complicated taxes... I did my own last year on Turbo Tax and I plan to do them myself again... it was really easy!!

Agreed... Im in Accounting but im an auditor.. but i always do my taxes on any tax program on sale at OfficeMax/ or at work... if your taxes are simple, DIY that badboy for $40 tops... otherwise go to another professional ... the average rate is $150-160...

and dont let know anyone fool you ...generally, the refund is always there... a good accountant will prepare your return - you can do that..but a great accountant will know his latest tax rules and get you a BIGGER REFUND... many people lose out on sooo many tax dollars$$$ because the accountant didnt apply a credit or something ... fire that lady and get you a real professional... yes, i need my $$$ for the wedding as well

my accountant charged me $175 last year..This year FH and I will be using the Turbo Tax or TaxCut software because we both have investment income, etc and we need to learn how to do this ourselves.

The accountant I had in Queens is wonderful. He charged me $175 and may charge you around the same for a 1040. His name is Taylor Guzman and his office is in Jackson Heights, Queens. his web site is taxagent.com

I dont know where you live, but I am an accountant. I honestly only stopped doing my own last year. it got more complicated, and I honestly got lazy lol I didn't feel like doing it anymore.
