ACK! sorry need to vent

Okay, I am writing my thesis and am having writer's block big time...this is not supposed to happen! On top of it all, my computer is not functioning properly (actually Microsoft Word is not functioning properly) and I am ready to back my car over my computer... I know you college student's out there can relate...I am hoping f ing around on LIW will clear my brain.

Question for those w/ Microsoft XP, do you have trouble running word?

i have no advice about XP, but wanted to send you hugs and a glass of wine LOL

I was just having an issue with MS word too. Sometimes it acts up on me, drives me NUTS!

I have no advice on how to fix it, other then it works best for me when I have nothing else open but that. Not easy to do, but it seems to help!

my computer just got fixed a couple of months ago, was running Fine, and then i turn it on yesterday, and theres a problem with ALL of the MSOffice programs (i.e outlook won't open; says everything needs to be reinstalled)

btw... i almost threw my comp out the window yesterday!!! i feel your pain (but have no idea how to help)

It keeps on making my document read-only, even though the option to do that is unchecked. So what winds up happening is that I write, write, write then go to save and can't. It just does it on it's own. Then sometimes I open a file up and get all squares instead of words or letters. I would chuck the computer out the window, but then I would not be able to talk w/ you guys!
