Acorn Ponds in Roslyn

Anyone know anything about it? I think they are condos.

Thanks!

Don't know anything first hand but I'm sure all of those townhouses/condos are REALLY expensive....I'd say upwards of $800K+ to over 1 million easily.

That's the development just of Searingtown Rd, right?

All the condos in that area are insane...Searingtown, North Hills, Roslyn, etc.

I found this listing:
Acorn Ponds condo and they're asking $475K

DH's partner purchased a condo in North Hills last year and he paid over $1.2 mil (not including the $500k in upgrades...it's still being built).

Edited to add: My cousin lives in a condo complex in Roslyn Heights, but I'm not sure of the name. I can find out the info if you're interested.

Are you talking about the condos on Shelter Rock Rd.?? Those are called Acorn Ponds. If so My friends dad used to live there. Before him Daryl Strawberry lived there. It's a really nice community, and very pricey I assume.

We knew it was pricey there...but those prices are a little crazy for a condo...I think I would rather a house for that cost.

Thanks for the info.

My best friends live in Acorn Ponds and I know a lot about them if you are interested... My FI and I are looking for condos in Nassau and the prices are thru the roof....It's hard to even find a house for those prices...

Those prices sound just like down here in Northern VA. Its just crazy.

Wow, and I thought people go south for a better way of life. More for your money sort of thing!

Yeah south is cheap but for some reason northern VA is expensive. The entire DC metro area has gotten a huge increase in prices over the past couple years.

I tutored someone in that complex. It was ok. It was very wooded in their backyard which is good. But I don't think it is as nice as the other communities in that area.
