I've been there also 3 times....and I absolutely loved my hotel...it's called the Mayan Palace. It has one of the longest swimming pools in Mexico. The hotel seems like it's floating on water. I don't know how to explain it,

I can also give you tons of retaurants! There was one that was carved out of a cliff, when you enter, it's just a small glass gazebo...and then you look and you see marble stairs that go down into the cliff. It's just so amazing! It was one of the best places I've ever been!

FM me if you want more info.

I went to Acapulco about 3 years ago - we went with 5 couples, so it was even more of a blast. The nightlife there is absolutely incredible, I saw some of the coolest clubs. We stayed at a nice hotel, but for the life of me I can't remember the name. I believe it started with a Q...

I was in Acapulco about three years ago-stayed at the Princess. The hotel was beautiful, lots of cool marble, big open lobby, very nicely decorated. Nice pools, swim up bar. You were able to use the facilities at the hotel next door, for a change of scenery.

Hotel was not on the main downtown strip. We liked the quiet, but it could be a pain taking cabs back and forth. Negotiate $ before you get in!

Didn't like the beach at the hotel. Too many pushy vendors, too many guys trying to convince you to take a horseback ride.

Baby'Os (disco) was ALOT of fun.

I've heard good things about Las Brisas hotel. It's supposed to be very romantic with private pools. Not on the beach, though. They do give you a pink Jeep to tour the city with!!!
