ADA Or Commack Wedding Center for photography

What experiences have you had with these companies? Good and bad. I have an appointment with both in the same day. I can't reschedule them until mid-Decemeber and I want to pick a photographer by then. What are your experienes? Thanks girls!

I would say the Wedding Center is not bad. I think that the owner is very pushy to make a sale. I ordered my girl's dresses from there. And my fiance and I just got our invits there. So I would say to go with this other company for your pics called, Picture Perfect. They are located in Lindenhurst. It's a man and wife. Their really good,very nice-especially the wife.

My brother just used ADA for his wedding in Sept. They recently got their proofs back and there were a lot of them and they were very nice...nothing special in my opinion. No black and white or photojournalism, just very traditional wedding photography. My complaint was with the photographer himself--some people thought he was funny, but I just thought he was obnoxious!!! Very pushy. My FH and I got engaged at my brother's reception and were a little amorous right after. The photographer told us to get a room! I just thought he was a jerk!

I just used ADA at my wedding 2 weeks ago but I don't have my proofs back yet. Honestly, after I booked them, I heard a lot of negative things about them and I flipped out but then I saw 2 albums from people I knew and they were very nice. My photog. did B&W and color. I made sure he wrote it on the contract. I used Anthony J. and he was really great to work with. Both our families and bp enjoyed working with him. When I get my proofs, I plan on doing an official review b/c I know there are other ADA brides out there who are nervous about their quality as well. Whoever you go with, just make sure you have the photographer that you meet with put his name on your contract so they don't do the old switcheroo on you. As with anything, try to get as much in writing as possible. GL!

I would pick ADA over Commack wedding Center... ADA is a really big company and they are house at like 13 catering halls on the island! I went to look at there work 4 times and everytime I go in there everyone is really nice to me, They answer all my questions and always have time for me... The staff is really nice and they know what there are talking about. 4 of my friends got married there.... all of them got so many proofs back.... ADA shoots about 250+ proofs... you really dont need any more proofs then like 300 b\c how many pictures can you really take of the same group of people dancing... One used Tony the owner and he was great... everyone loved him and our pictures look are great....
another one used Big JOhn, he was great also... he made everyone have a good time while taking all the pictures we had to do. Her pictures where great also....
Another had Anthony J.... Everyone loved him... he was ever relaxed and made taking picture fun.... it was really cold on her wedding and my friend wanted pictures outside so he was really fast outside so the bride didnt get red from the cold... he was a really great guy also...
Another had Anthony M... he also did a really great job.... he made the BRide & groom and the bridal party and the familys make cocktail hour....
I feel that ADA is a really good place.... everyone is just really nice and friendly...
