ADA Photography???

Okay, so, a friends girlfriend is a wedding photographer, and, I was hoping to book her. Turns out, she is already booked, and now I am super stressed.

She used to work for ADA, and she reccomended them, anyone have any experience or price info on them???

We're really not looking to spend a ton on photography.

We met with ADA. I really liked them but booked with Patken. They give a lot more with their packages then most others.

I met with them and personally i wasn't impressed..other photographers offer more in their packages, and the lady i met with was really rude!

Okay, thanks girls! I just wanted to get a little bit of input... I think I am going to meet with them. With only 9 months to go I think I am limited in my choices. It ***** being so far away and not being able to meet with a photographer at any time.

I'm not sure who else to meet with, I don't want to spend more than 3500 or so.

I have another name that my friend gave me who she is using.

That might be kind of hard to find. I know ADA is much higher than that. I would definitely try Velvet, they have good prices. For photo and video depending on the package I think it will be difficult to find a package for both for 3,500.

Jesus, that is so expensive. I don't want all that much, but, I definitely want photo and video.

I would say the AVERAGE price I found when I looked for photo and video was 5,000 for both. It all really depends on what you want in your package (ex. 2 photographers, parent albumn, how many pics in your album, enlarged pictures, thank you cards)

Re: ADA Photography???

I think that I want my album, some enlargements and black and whites, and every picture taken, two photographers. I was going to get the parents albums, but, I think that I can make those myself, just as nicely. I also want video, nothing crazy, just something to watch to see what I miss! I will check out Velvet!

FH is from Maryland, and has never heard of the TY card pictures. I think with that, we will just choose a photo we like, and get reprints made at CVS or Target for the TY cards.

hey amanda. I booked with ADA. I think their work is amazing. I got more things in my package than any other photo place I looked into to. ADA is expensive. I got quoted about $6,500 but that is for the biggest package available. I got 1 photog., 1 photojournalistic photog., 1 video guy. It came with a magazine style album of 100 photos, 2 parent albums of 100 photos, 3 brag books, more enlargements than I am going to know what to do with. and the coolest part is that they do dvd thank yous, you still get your regular thank you's but every guest guest will get a mini dvd of a 15 min. recap of your weddi8ng. I know they are expensive but you might like a smaller package. Good luck and fm me if you have any other questions.

Re: ADA Photography???

Honestly, I didnt meet with ADA but the average cost I saw was around $5000. I met with Velvet, Duet (who I booked), Perceptions (most expensive), and two others. One was really inexpensive and they send me a MILLION postcards I just can't remember their name. They are on Wantagh Ave North in Wantagh. They have been in business for a long time and I think their normal photo/video package was around $4200. HTH!
