Add me to the list...(a lil long, sorry)

...of girls who know about their bridal showers. FH and I were visiting his parents this weekend and I was upstairs and heard his mom very loudly talking about the shower my mom is planning (including the date) and the one she is throwing (including the date). I am kind of sad, because I really wanted to be surprised. I feel especially bad that I found out about my mom's shower, because she would be mad if she found out that FMIL ruined the surprise.

I am so grateful though...I don't have the best relationship with FMIL and never thought she would throw me a shower. I'm hoping she is coming around a little bit - she actually took an interest in things this weekend.

But still a little bummed.
