If I was a boy, my mother wanted to name me Patrick Vincent after her father and my father's father -- but Patrick didn't really go w/my Italian last name, so my father was happy about that!!!

Yes, really. Prince is a family name - it was my great-grandfather's first name. I hate Nathan. Ugh.

However, my parents' other choices for a girls' name were Martha and Rebecca. I came out and they said 'Rachel.' And here I am.

When my mom was pregnant with my brother, my father wanted to name him Jesse James......they actually fought about this for months.

He ended up being Joseph Michael

Felix after my dad - thank god i was a girl but my name isn't much better. I was still named after my dad and that's how i got my name - Felicia.

I would have been John Charles, Jr. It took my parents three tries before they could get a John Charles, Jr.
