address label help

Sorry girls, I'm really bad at this sort of thing. How can I use my address list in excel to print out everyone's address on to labels? Do I have to do each one individually or is there a way to do it all at once? This is for my STD envelopes.
TIA!

I think you have to have them in a label template/worksheet, but I'm not 100% sure. I used the guest list on here, LIW, and you can print your labels all at once at the push of a button . . . . Test it out, choose print and choose the paper as a label type, and see what happens on regular paper, then you'll be able to see what happens.

i dont think u can use the mail merge feature to print on labels, not 100% sure though.

if you want to just type directly onto the label, when you go in2 envelopes & mailing, and click on the labels tag, after you pick you label type click add to document, then you can type out the addresses.

That's what I did for our engagement party labels. Mail merge wasn't working for me. There is a way to use the excel spreadsheet (I used to do it at my old job but, I couldn't remember how when I had to print mine). Let me know if you figure it out.

Good Luck!
