address labels on save the dates?

address labels on save the dates?

Hi ladies,

So I just heard somewhere that it's against etiquette to using mailing labels on wedding mail. But, I really don't want to be bothered with this STD project anymore and I already printed the labels. Our STDs are very casual and cute postcards. What do you ladies think?

and what are my options for the STDs if not mailing labels on a postcard?

I wouldn't worry about. I think most people use the labels on save the dates.

We used clear labels. If people thought I was going to hand address 75 STDs they had another thing coming.

I used labels for my STDs and will probably be using them again for my invites. Eff etiquette! LOL!

I am using labels on my STD...probably clear ones...mine are pretty informal, so I dont give a sh*t about etiquette.

I wouldn't stress. Most people don't pay attention to little details. Most mail I receive hat are postcards have mailing labels on it. You have enough to worry about with wedding planning. My motto is don't sweat the small stuff! :)

I wouldn't use them on invitations but on STD's it should be fine!

on STD i would say it for sure doesn't matter.

traditional ettiquette says not to use them on invites but i'd say if you're having a less than fancy-schamncy formal wedding than... who cares?

who is going to sit there being like 'did she honestly print out labels instead of handwriting?'

i have cool but not always entirely legible handwriting - i will be labeling it on up, sister.

I am using clear lables on my Invitations. I am not have a black tie event. I doubt my guests will even notice if its handwritten or labels.

I did them on our STDs. I've also received labels on invitations and thought nothing of it. I wouldn't think its bad etiquette.

I used clear ones and printed on them. I think they were great and honestly I've gotten hand written ones that looked pretty bad. Honestly no-1 is going to complain about your address labels. They are just going to be happy to have your STD
