Address Question

When someone lives in an apartment building, do you put the apartment number in the address? I always thought yes, but in the past couple of months I have gotten 2 invites WITHOUT our apt. number on it....

Yes! Or they might deliver it to the wrong apartment!
(We sometimes get our neighbor's mail even with the correct Apt.#!)

Re: Address Question

Yes Beck.. having just gone through my list and with my envelopes getting done like RIGHT now..

Mr. and Mrs. John Smith
222 East 22nd Street
Apartment 2A
New York, New York 10021

Depending on the length of the first line- the Apt may go next to it, or drop down to the next line.

Re: Address Question

Always put the apartment number. Sometime the postman knows the person and will put the mail in the right box. Just in case the person get another postman, it would be easier if the apartment number is on the envelope.

definitely put the apt #. One of my friends buildings refuses to deliver any mail that doesn't have apt. #'s on it!!! Its just send back to the sender.
