I dont know why but I am second guessing myself here.
When addressing invites to a woman who is divorced but kept her ex's name, she should be Ms. Jane Smith right?
If the woman never married but is like lets say 60 should she bee a Ms. Jane Smith or Miss Jane Smith?
My brain has officially turned to mush!

Re: Address Question
I would probably just write Ms. in both cases. In fact, I think I did do that in both cases. Makes things less messy, and if they do want to go by Mrs. (in the divorcee case), they will correct you on the RSVP card.

Re: Address Question
my calligrapher emailed me her opinions. along with writing out EVERYTHING she suggested that anyone who wasn't married should be Ms. since miss implies young person and Ms. includes everyone...

Re: Address Question
I'd use Ms. for any woman who is unmarried. That's what I prefer to be known as.
