So my e-party is October 7th. My parents want to have all of the invitations out by yesterday. I am still waiting on 8 addresses from FH and FMIL. I feel like me and my parents are doing everything for this e-party and I don't want to have to track down these addresses also. FH works alot of crazy hours and I'm a teacher who works 2 days a week over the summer. Of course I have more free time but It's driving me crazy that I have to do everything!!!
Any suggestions?
I tried zabbasearch and aolwhitepages and only found one. I will call FMIL this evening and tell her I'm sending them out on Monday and I really hope I can send them all! I hope that's not too bad! Thank you for the responses! Just knowing it's not only my FH and FMIL makes me feel better!

Honestly I would just get used to it! Lots of brides here have posted the same issues. I had to deal with a similar situation as well. Sometimes the guys (and also their side of the fam) are just not as into it as we are. I would just call FMIL up and tell her it's urgent that you get the addresses because they need to go out ASAP. I'm sure she doesn't realize this (mine didn't). Best of luck! And remember you can always vent about it to us!

I think this is a common problem. It's usually--FH and his side of the family drag their feet and you have to keep on top of things. Put your foot down and always stress how important it is to get stuff in a timely manner.

Honestly, don't worry about it. If FH and FMIL don't care enough to get you the addresses from their side of the family then they don't care enough to have those people at the e-party. That's their responsibility and if they aren't doing their part then there's nothing you can do.

Now fh says they don't need invitations, they'll hear about it and come. Why am I working so hard on the invites if that's how he feels??? So frustrated!!!!

I am sorry. Families can be very difficult in these situations. I know mine is. Good luck and don't stress too much.

when I wanted to send out stds it took my fh about 3 months to give addresses. I wanted to hurry up before th stamps changed prices. of course he still didn't give. I ended up putting 2 stamps on each std of his because they were the cute love ones and I didn't want the ugly 2 cent ones on it lol.
my dad on the other hand never gave any addresses until I called my aunt/his SIL she gave them for him. I think men just do that in general or something. I would think the FMIL would jump at the chance to invite people lol.

I had this same problem..I just sent out the addresses I knew and kind of handed the unknowns to FH... he handled it eventually....but I had to stay on him...its a man thing.
