addressing envelopes
What is the proper way to address the envelopes??? outer and inner
I also have a question how about a married couple and the woman kept her maiden name?

I think it also depends on the 'feel' that you're going for. I was formal on the outer envelopes and informal on the inner.

this is what we did.
Mr and Mrs John Doe on the outside
Uncle John and Aunt Jane on the inside....well, we actually just wrote John and Jane.
