Addressing Envelopes
We're not using an inner envelope, so when The Knot etiquette says not to address children on the outer envelope but on the inner envelope, what to do? For FH's Family - his brother and sisters are young, and are obvi invited. Soooo... would it go:Mr. & Mrs. Smith
kid name, kid name, kid name
address
address
or
The Smith Family
address
address
I know they know the kids are invited. But. I just want to make sure there's no question about it so I don't offend anyone.

Addressing Envelopes
We did 'the smith family'. For the RSVP cards we had 'we have reserved blank seats in your honor', and wrote down how many we allocated for them, which was obviously they're whole family lol This was so there was no confusion and I've gotten a few rsvps back from family abroad, and so far so good. :)

Addressing Envelopes
I did Smith Family. However, I had enough left over that I handed his nieces their own invitation (the boys didn't care so much about having one to keep, lol)

Re: Addressing Envelopes
We did 'The Smith Family' since we didn't use an inner envelope either. If the kid in question is a teenager without a guest I did 'Mr & Mrs. Smith' and on the next line 'Amy Smith'.ETA: Hey date twin, when are you mailing yours out?

This is exactly what I ended up doing.
I'm going to visit my MOH this weekend, and we're going to stuff them all, so I wanted to have the envelopes done. It was such a pain in the a$$, my printer would shut off and turn back on every third envelope or so, I was up until 12:30am. ANYWAY. It's done, they're gorgeous.
I'm planning on mailing them out around the 2nd week in August. I have an RSVP date of 9/25 so I don't want to give people toooooo much time between receiving them and the RSVP date to eventually lose the RSVP card and then I'll have to call them. lol.
