addressing envelopes for invitations?

OK so im doing my own addressing -

quick question because i have seen it both ways online -

Is it supposed to look like this:

Mr & Mrs Robert Jones
123 Smith Street
City, State 11011

Or like this:

Mr & Mrs Robert Jones
123 Smith Street
City, State
1 1 0 1 1

So weird because i googled it and option #2 is shown a lot but im not sure that looks right???

Thanks

I honestly think it is fine either way and probably just a matter of preference. However, if it helps, I had mine professionally printed, and they did the second one (zip underneath)

Ours were professional and I think done the first way.

It's purely aesthetic

usps states the prefer the zip on the same line as city & state - but they will deliver the mail regardless

Ours was professionally done...And the zip code was on a separate line. So option # 2.
