I think I might have asked this

before, but...
If I'm mailing a invitation to someone who is a widow, do I address it as??

Mrs. Jane Doe
Ms. Jane Doe
Mr. John Doe

AGH HA, Since my FSIL is now a widow we were talking about this and apparently there is a gazzilion ways to do this. If they are older they should be MRS. JOHN DOE. If they are very recently widowed they should also be MRS. John DOE if they are still fairly young and not recently widowed then it is MRS. JANE doe. I don't knwo if this is right but about 15 people I asked seperatly told me this. If you get a concrete answer please share with me!
