Addressing help

Hi! I am working on designing my save the date cards. I am thinking about using a clear envelope. I did a bit of research on the internet and it seems like the post office is okay with them. Has anyone done this?

Also, I used a light blue ink for the save the dates. Do you think I can use the same color for the addresses? It's on a white background. Has anyone done this before?
