Addressing Invitation Question???

Addressing Invitation Question???

I know that when you address the invitations the out side will either say
Mr and Mrs. Jim Jones
or
Mr Jim Jones and guest

but
how are you addressing the inner envelopes?
Are you keeping it formal as well
like
Mr. and Mrs. Jim Jones
or is it less formal like
Jim and Jen?????????????

I kept it formal for older family members and my moms friends. People that I was close to I addresses them: Grandma and Grandpa... or Jen and John.... or Aunt Donna and Uncle Frank.

123 main street
lalalala, ny 11234

inner

Mr. and Mrs. John P. Smith

I think it depends on the formality of your wedding
