I just received my invitations in the mail last night!! In order to save money I am planning on printing my own envelopes. I want to print straight onto the envelopes, but I am very scared of screwing them up. Does anyone have instructions on how to do this-I mean when it comes to selecting paper size and such-I can operate a computer but I never printed onto anything but regular paper and labels. Also-am I supposed to print something on the inner envelope as well? If so what? Finally, do I fill in the line with the M on the response card or the guests do? Thanks!!

Re: addressing invitations
Do a test envelope first. And see how it comes out. You don't have to write anything on the innver envelope if you don't want to. I have seen it where sometimes people write on there and some don't. You don't fill in the M____ they do that when they return it.

Re: addressing invitations
I cant really direct you as far as printer set up bc each computer and printer is different. But i CAN tell you this:
cut up paper the size of the envelopes and test on that instead of on the envelope! 90% chance that it WILL come out wrong the first few times and you dont want to waste those envelopes!!! It took us a LONG TIME to configure the printer properly when we did our e-party invites... good luck!

Re: addressing invitations
When using word for the address go to tool...then enveople/labels. Click on Envelopes and then click on options. And set it to the correct size.

Thanks everyone! Good thinking with cutting the paper-I should have thought of that!
