I have a question. We sent out our invitations this week. FH's best man is getting married 3 weeks before us. I addressed the invitation to Mr. Michael and Ms. Marianne. We got the response back today and they signed it as Mr and Mrs. Last Name.
Was I supposed to address their invitation to Mr. and Mrs. because they will be married at our wedding?
Or
Did I do the right thing by addressing it to them as they are now?

You addressed it correctly, however for their escort/placecard - address them as their married names.

Definitely planned on doing that.
Thanks for your response.

Re: Addressing Invitations
Yup, Chris is right. You did the correct thing. We had a few couples like that last year. Sent the invitations to their current names, the placecards in their married names. They prob just RSVPed as Mr & Mrs bc that's how they're telling you they want their placecards to be written out, I don't think they'd be insulted/offended that you sent the invitation to them as unmarried (since they aren't married yet!).

Re: Addressing Invitations
You definitely did the right thing.
I'm sure they were just excited to use their married names on the response card since they'll be married by the time they go to your wedding!
