Hello, all, my invites are in,.. but i need to start addressing them. How did you ladies handle addressing your invitations? Did you go through someone else? or DIY?

Re: Addressing Invitations
i just printed the addresses myself. to me, it's not worth it to spend money on calligraphy (i'm on a tight budget)

Hi, how did you print them? did you use lables? I'm on an extremely tight budget as well, and also on a tight schedule to get this out.

Re: Addressing Invitations
I did them myself using a wordperfect mail merge. I picked a pretty font and ran the envelopes directly through my laser printer.

Hi August bride 09, i actually contacted him, i am waiting on a call back, but there was a offer of 39 cents per address, does that sound right, and where is he located, and also, how long did it take to receive the envelopes back?
Thanks...

Yeah he takes a bit to get back to you. He is located in Larchmont in westchester county. Yep its super inexpensive. I spent like$70 bucks. It took 3 days but I work in the next town from him so I picked them up myself. I assume with shipping it may take a little longer.

My sister did my envelopes as she took calligraphy in school... Otherwise I would have printed them... I did the return address envies on the computer. Trust me, it don't matter what you do, as long as they look neat.. People chuck the envelopes anyway.

Re: Addressing Invitations
I used Toni RSVP a vendor on here. She was fantastic. The font that was used on my invites was unusual and Toni took the time to find the font and did the addresses in that. I dropped them off to her on Fri night and had them back Mon night. She was super easy to deal with and it cost me less than $65 for about $70 invites. She even kept a couple of my envelopes for last minute additions or problems. She was really easy to work with, answered me right away and saved me a potential headache, because I was already dreading doing the addressing. She is in the Malverne area, but I met her in Melville.

Re: Addressing Invitations
I am planning on printing the outer envelopes by myself and orderinf the inner envelopes pre-addressed. If I find printing the outer envelopes to be annoying or not working out, I may go through Inkspun.com. I know some girls on here that said they used them and got good reviews.

Re: Addressing Invitations
I just bought a calligraphy set online for $12 and hopefully I'll be able to practice and do them myself. I love crafty stuff like this though, might not have the patience if I wasn't going to enjoy it!
