Addressing invites?

Who is using calligraphy? Anyone printing labels? How is everyone addressing their invites?

I'm using Artistic Addressing. They call it digitized calligraphy.

They're reasonably priced and have been wonderful to deal with.

I printed mine myself on the computer with a calligraphy font, they came out really nice.

I did the inner, outer and the return address on the outer.

For the girls that used the calligraphy font, what program did you have it in? Word? I don't have one in my Word processing documents.

And did you do black or color ink?

I have WordPerfect on my home computer, and I printed in black ink.

The reason I printed my return address on the envelope also was b/c I knew that the fonts wouldn't match exactly if I had the nvitation place do it.

I downloaded a free font into MS Word and I used black ink (because my invitation wording was in black - I wanted it to match)

Edited to say...I found the extact match to the font on my invitations

Re: Addressing invites?

Thanks girls! I am going to ask the woman who did my invites to see if I can get an exact font! I did green ink on the invitation so I guess I am going to staples to get a color cartridge!

thanks. I'm sending my envelopes in this week and they have about a 2 week (possibly sooner) turn around time. I thought that was quite reasonable. We got 'THe Ritz' style, but asked them to change the typeset to match our invites and they sent a sample back within a day or so. And I loved it!

I would print them myself if I thought I wouldnt mess up so many envelopes - too much room for error and expense.
