Hi Girls -- I'm crashing the board for some much needed help.
I've been thinking about how to address my invitation envelopes. Should I print the envelopes on the computer? Has anyone done this? Was it as hard and time consuming as I think it's going to be?
Any advice/tips would be very much appreciated!
TIA!

Re: Addressing Invites
I responded to your thread on BHB. It was time consuming at first, trying to figure out the Mail Merge. Then we discovered we could only feed about 1-3 envelopes through the printer at a time. Once I knew what I was doing it really went quickly, I had my mom helping me and we had a perfect system down by the time we were done!!

Re: Addressing Invites
we got professional computer calligraphy done by Follow Your Heart (LIW vendor)
it was much less expensive than hand calligraphy and it saved me and DH a huge headache of trying to do it ourselves.

Re: Addressing Invites
we used inkspun for ours and I was pleased. If I could do it again I probably would have just done clear labels though

Re: Addressing Invites
The woman who made our invites also addressed them for us using computer calligraphy.

Re: Addressing Invites
We did it and once you get one envelope set up it works great on the computer. Cut some paper the size of the envelopes and play with it until you are happy with the way it looks. We fed one envelope at a time just in case :)
We even did our thank you notes that way.
