I've gotten a bunch of wedding invitations where the inside envelope is not addressed but I've been reading online that the should be. What are you guys doing with them?

The inside envelope should just have the guests name..ie Mr. & Mrs. John Doe

I don't have inner envelopes but every invitation I've seen has the informal names on the inner envelope example:
Outside envelope: Mr & Mrs J. Doe Inside: John & Mary

i think the inner envelope is just supposed to have the names.
