Should the address be handwritten or mailing labels? My mom says I should just put mailing labels on my invites? I don't think so. Just curious if there was a protocol. I can possibly see the STD having mailing labels. What do you think?

I placed the envelope in the printer. Also, I used a nice script it gives it a better look and more elegant. I'm not a fan of the sticker labels.

i hand wrote my STD's. When I do my invitations, they will be done nicely and more formal.

i've seen people handwrite and print them. We bought clear labels and printed the addresses on FH's printer

my STD were printed labels. but i plan to have my invites either printed directly onto the envelope (possibly using inkspun.com or my invitation vendor) or having them done by hand from a friend.

STD's I printed the addresses & return address on the envelope with my printer.
Invites - I had them pre-printed from my vendor.

I used my printer - I fed them through once to print the return on the flap and then again to print the mailing address

i did labels for eparty invites, eparty thank yous, and STDs
for the wedding invites i plan on doing some sort of caligraphy or printing.
