hey ladies! i am using metallic envelopes (in a beige/grey color) and i was wondering if you had any suggestions how to address them? the calligraphy pen i bought looks faded when i write on them, and i don't have access to a printer that i can run them through. do you k now if there are any pens out there that will not fade or smudge on the paper?

i dont know about pens, but I addressed mine with a laser printer. some of the letters did peal off so i had to re-print them....the metallic paper is very tricky.

My eparty invites had a metallic envelope, I used clear labels and it worked great.

we used michelle from ez calligraphy, she was able to print on our metallic envelopes

my moh is using india ink or something like that on mine....but i have no idea how etc...she works with it endlessly.
if ure looking for an easier method via a pen...try a different brand of permanent pen/marker (if the printer doesnt work). some places have the pens out so u can sample them on the envelope.

thanks ladies.
do you think using a ballpoint pen and just writing very neatly would be bad? i tried the calligraphy pen again and it smudged even after i let it sit for about 15 minutes....
