Addressing Save the dates?

Addressing Save the dates?

My save the dates are my DIY project for the week...and I wanted to double check how to address them.

If we're inviting someone with a guest, do I address the Save the Date to just the person I'm inviting or do I write and Guest as I would on the invitation?

Thanks in advance for your help!

I addressed the STD just to the person I know and then on the inner envelope of the invitation we're putting 'and Guest.' There's no need on the STD. If your friend/family member wants to know if they'll be invited with a guest before the invitations come, they can always ask you.

Just the person you are inviting. The STD is not an invitation, you are just asking them to keep that date open. When you send the actual invites, you can put 'and guest'

I only had outer envelopes for STDs and I addressed them just to the person, unless I knew they would have a specific guest (like an engaged couple or someone with a serious boyfriend/girlfriend). I liked it when his friends put my name on things like STDs before we were engaged.
