I got my STDs!!!! Now I need help addressing them. Is it ok to print address on clear labels? and do I have to put ' and guest' for the single people coming? What about kids? do have to add their names or just for the parents?
Thank you ladies

Re: Addressing Save the Dates
i think the clear labels are fine
you don't need and guest, you can save that for the actual invitation
for kids...i dont think you need to put their names...just put like - mr and mrs smith and family

Re: Addressing Save the Dates
I addressed mine very informally. I addressed the std card to people by their family name. I will be more formal on invites.
Clear labels are fine.

Re: Addressing Save the Dates
So for single person - their names for couple - both names on 2 lines for married - Mr and Mrs. and for Kids - Mr and Mrs. and family right
just want to make sure I got this right

That is exactly how I did it. No need to go super crazy for STD's. You can be more formal on the invitations.

Re: Addressing Save the Dates
Ok...quick question....All of FH family is OOT. I am inviting the majority of them with a guest. I am nervous that if they don't know this before the invites go out than the guest will end up not being able to come b/c of airfare and hotel rooms...I wanted to put and guest on the STD's so everyone has ample notice....I know this is usually not done though...thoughts?

Re: Addressing Save the Dates
I handwrote my addresses for the STDs.
As for your guest question, for OOTers, it's totally your call. I left the guest off of my STD, but it's not wrong to include it.

Good question. Everyone from FH side of the family are OOT. Anyone out there with a suggestion?

Re: Addressing Save the Dates
Is it ok to print address on clear labels? YES THIS IS WHAT WE DID! IT'S DEF EASIER ON MICROSOFT WORD- FM ME IF YOU HAVE QUESTIONS.
and do I have to put ' and guest' for the single people coming? WE DID. THIS WAY THEY CAN BE PREPARED! AND NOT FEEL LEFT OUT IF THE PERSON HAS BEEN DATING SOMEONE THAT YOU ARE NOT AWARE OF!
What about kids? do have to add their names or just for the parents? WE PUT 'MR.AND MRS. SMITH AND FAMILY' ON OURS. FOR MY FIRST COUSINS WHO ARE SMALL WE PUT, 'MR. AND MRS. JOHN SMITH, KELSEY AND JAKE'
sorry for the caps- i just wanted you to be able to read my responses!
