First post and I have a question...When sending save-the-dates if your sending it to a household which the members will be invited 'and guest' do you send one save-the-date addressed to the family or should I send one to each individual person?
Thanks!

Re: Addressing Save the Dates
For STD's, I sent them as the family......I also did magnets, and didn't feel they needed 2 or 3 magnets in each house, lol. But they will all get separate invites.

If everyone in the household is invited, I would send one to the family. The STD is usually more casual than the formal invitation.

Re: Addressing Save the Dates
I guess I'm the odd one out...but then again I only had two instances of this (adult children living with parents). I sent the parents one STD and I sent the 'child' their own. I was actually really glad I did because in one instance the girl was really excited and happy to receive her own STD.

i also sent separate ones in the couple of instances where someone still lives at home. i used the same rule as the wedding invites, if your over 18 you get your own.
however, i did not put '& Guest' on the STDs. things can happen, budgets can change so i didn't want to guarantee anyone that they could bring a guest a year in advance.

I think I'm going to just send one to each family. However, if someone in that family is in the BP- that person will get his/her own.

I'll play it by ear...I agree that for certain people I will send a seperate one. I just wasn't sure if there was a rule of thumb for the STD's. Thanks everyone!
