Addressing the Envelopes

Addressing the Envelopes

We just tried that with Holiday Cards for the office - very tedious. We had to feed the envelopes in one by one - we send out over 500 cards.
Did I see wall hangings in some of the pictures? If so, did your florist provide these?

Good point, most printers you do have to feed by hand but if the other choice is writing them all by hand (in your best penmanship nonetheless!!), I would opt for the hand feeding. I did quite a bit of printing for our wedding (favor covers, candy bar wrappers) and you have to feed it by hand too. I can go quickly though. Get a piece of paper the exact size of your envelope and practice centering it. I am getting my invites this week and am going to try it out myself. If you don't want to buy a CD ROM program (I saw a nice one but it was $125 - forget it) and you are proficient at Word, you can do it through their envelope tool and customize an envelope if need be. Not too difficult really...it's just the envelope feeding. Do you know how to create a merge on Word? Let me know if you need some help..

Elizabeth-Candy Wrappers

I used glossy paper specifically for the inkjet printer. They came out great. It is 32 lb paper (regular paper is 20 lb weight) Don't get the digital photo paper - it will be more expensive and not as pliable. How did you do your wrappers? I loved making them.

You stuff sounds really nice. The little touches make it so special. I got the paper at Staples. It is Hewlett Packard paper if that helps.
I already made the labels for the small wine bottles so I used the same background, colors, font to make the wrappers which I will use for placecards.
