Addressing the invitations

We're starting to work on the information for the calligrapher this week and I've gotten some mixed information. One person is telling me that the inner envelopes should remain blank, but I've found a lot of info online about how to word the names on the inner envelopes. What are you ladies doing? I just want to make it clear exactly who is invited. Thanks!
