We are planning on addressing our own invites. My question is I want to put my guest list in excel and then do the mail merge in word, is there a format that I need to use when I am setting up my guest list in excel?? If so, does anyone have a template or suggestions??

When i've done excel to work mail merges, i've always made sure to label each column with what the contents are. For examble, column A will be first names, column B will be last names, etc etc. When you merge it into word, you'll find that the column labels help you organize your document. HTH!

I did names column a, street address column b and town, state, zip in column c. If you go to 'help' it gives you a breakdown of how you can set it up for mail merge. HTH
