Adopting a cat

Adopting a cat

Girls,
There is a stray black and white cat that has decided to make my porch her home. My family already has an indoor cat and we cannot bring this one in. If ANYONE knows someone who would like to scoop her up let me know? I called north shore this morning and they are not interested and i have placed calls with both long beach and Freeport animal shelters. If anyone knows any other no kill rescue shelters please let me know! I cannot stand to hear her meowing and crying it is killing me!!!

Awww, I will ask around to see if any of my friends or family would like a cat. We just adopted a cat last year. He was a stray as well.

I think Little Shelter off of Jericho takes in cats and doesn't kill (my friend works there so I can double check that...) you should give them a call

I use to volunteer at little shelter. They are over crowded and do not believe they are able to take anymore in.

I know my local vet will take in animals and try to find them homes. You should try yours!

you're right; i texted my friend and she said they are at capacity! she did mention that they often recommend petfinder.com as a place to post. HTH!
